From Morocco, this specimen features the broad, horseshoe shaped cephalic fringe characteristic of Scotoharpes, creating an unmistakable silhouette.

The approximately 2 inch trilobite displays a dark, strongly segmented body surrounded by a broad fringe with warm brown coloration. Long, curved extensions sweep upward along either side of the body, while the elevated preparation gives the specimen a dramatic three dimensional appearance. Viewed from different angles, the preparation highlights both the segmentation of the body and the distinctive shape of the surrounding fringe.

The trilobite is presented on an approximately 6 x 4 inch natural matrix.
