Sand dollars are flat, burrowing urchins known for their radial symmetry. Fossil records indicate they first appeared around 60 million years ago. Many are still alive today. You will receive an Arrowhead sand dollar like the one pictured, which is approximately 3.5 inches. Each specimen is unique, so there may be small variances.
