Display a remarkable piece of Earth's ancient oceans with an authentic Goniatite Fossil on Stand from Morocco. Measuring approximately 4.25 inches, this genuine fossil has been professionally mounted for an elegant display, making it an eye-catching addition to any home, office, classroom, or fossil collection.

Goniatites were extinct marine cephalopods that lived approximately 390–252 million years ago, long before the dinosaurs. Like modern nautiluses, ammonites, and squid, they belonged to the mollusk family and lived in coiled, chambered shells.

Although they closely resemble ammonites, goniatites are significantly older and can be distinguished by their much simpler shell sutures—the intricate lines where the internal chamber walls met the outer shell. Goniatites feature smooth, gently curved sutures, while ammonites evolved the complex, highly folded suture patterns that many collectors recognize today.

Mounted on an attractive display stand, these fossils make excellent conversation pieces and are perfect for fossil enthusiasts, educators, and anyone fascinated by prehistoric life.
