Own a piece of lost NASA history with this authentic 16mm film from the Surveyor 7 mission. In 2021, a mystery film reel was discovered and later identified as original NASA footage from 1967, capturing the Surveyor 7 lunar lander inside the cleanroom at Kennedy Space Center. After extensive research, no record of this film was found in NASA’s archives, leading to its preservation and release for posterity.
The Surveyor program was instrumental in preparing for the Apollo missions, with Surveyor 7 successfully landing on the rim of Tycho Crater—one of the Moon’s most visible features from Earth. NASA meticulously filmed each spacecraft's assembly and testing to ensure mission success and troubleshoot potential failures.
Now, you can own a tangible piece of this remarkable discovery. Each collectible includes approximately 12 frames of the original film, carefully preserved in an acrylic display case and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Don't miss this rare opportunity to hold a fragment of space exploration history!
