Yutyrannus roamed northeastern China during the early part of the Cretaceous period. Its name means feathered tyrant. Yutyrannus is the largest known dinosaur with direct evidence of feathers. It couldn't fly, but the feathers may have helped with thermal regulation or visual signaling.
