Private Classes

Presentations may include references to evolution and geologic time.

What do the classes include?

Classes include educational presentations, hands-on activities, and take-home keepsakes. They’re designed to make science fun and memorable! You can see a full list of our classes with more detailed descriptions here.
How much do classes cost?

Classes start at $24.95 per participant.
Who can participate?

Most classes are geared toward school-aged children, but younger children are welcome with adult supervision. Participants are usually 4-12 years old. We can schedule classes specifically for middle, junior, and high school students if you have a group of 8 or more!
Do adults need to stay?

Yes, adults are asked to stay during class. However, they do not need to pay unless they are also participating in the activities.
Where are the classes held?

All classes are held in-person at Tyrannostorus in Mesa, AZ.
How do I register?

You can register and pay online using links provided for each class. Booking and paying online reserves your spot.
Can I see all the upcoming classes?

Available classes, dates, and links will be listed on this page when available. You can also view them in calendar format.
What happens after I register?

You’ll receive a confirmation email after signing up. A reminder email will also be sent the day before your class.
Is my class fee refundable?

Class fees are nonrefundable, but we can transfer your registration to another class or issue a store credit if you're unable to attend. Please contact us at rex@tyrannostorus.com if you need to reschedule.
Can I pay using ESA funds?

Can I schedule a private class?

Yes! We can schedule most classes on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays from 10–11 a.m. for groups of 8 or more as long as we have the materials in stock. Contact us to arrange a private event.
Will anything be shipped to me?

No. You may be asked for a shipping address at checkout, but this is for system purposes only. Nothing will be mailed. Your class confirmation will be sent via email.
