There is no admission fee, but there are products and activities available for purchase! Upon entering, visitors are greeted by a life-size replica of a Tyrannosaurus Rex skull. Venture further to discover additional prehistoric relics and replicas including a Bravoceratops skull and a wide array of fossils. There are wonders of the natural world from land and sea as well as an incredible selection of gems and minerals from around the globe. There are areas dedicated to the exploration of anthropology, entomology, geology, marine biology, and paleontology. Tyrannostorus has something for everyone from aspiring paleontologists to serious collectors.  

Tyrannostorus carries a wide variety of of high-quality products at great prices. Categories include anthropology, books, bug boxes, casts/replicas, crystal stands, fossils, ice age artifacts, jewelry, lamps, night lights, metaphysical, horns, skulls, teeth, jaws, paleontology supplies, pay dirt, shadow boxes, shells, coral, toys, and novelties. Products include but are not limited to dinosaur teeth, shark jaws, starfish, ammonites, trilobites, fossil plates, shiva lingam, labradorite, amethyst, bismuth, agates, and quartz. Tyrannostorus also offers high-end relics and replicas for science and history enthusiasts. Shop for everything from toys to collectibles. 

Experience the wonder of science and dinosaurs at Tyrannostorus! Hands-on activities are designed to educate and inspire. Unlike traditional museum settings, guests are encouraged to touch and handle materials. Children of all ages can experience the fun and adventure of excavating fossils at the store’s dig site and searching for gems and minerals in the sluice. Excavation kits range in price from $4.95-$39.95 depending on size and content. Some bags have gems and minerals while others have seashells, fossils, arrowheads, and more. A 20 pound kit can be purchased for $79.95. Uncovered treasures go home with customers in a special Tyrannostorus take home box. Adults are encouraged to take part in the activities with their kids. Everyone can wash hands at the clean up station afterward.  

In addition to providing hands-on fun for the whole family, Tyrannostorus is dedicated to educating the community. Our school visits include a wide variety of real and replica fossils, which our audience can touch and interact with. We have experience presenting in auditoriums or smaller classroom settings. Our well-educated staff has wonderful presentations prepared for all ages designed to excite and spark an interest in exploring the natural world. We provide stickers and coupons for activities at our store in Mesa, AZ and answer questions our audience may have. 

We also host STEM field trips and classes at our activity center in Mesa, Arizona. These start at $10.00/student and include a hands-on activity ranging from collecting and identifying fossils to eating astronaut ice cream! For an additional $5.00/student we include an extra activity to participate in for even more fun.  

We have a dedicated team with hands-on experience in paleontology, geology, and other fields with a passion to educate and provide engaging experiences that spark an interest in the world of natural sciences. Packages are not limited to school groups. Tyrannostorus is also available for private events and birthday parties. Birthday packages are for groups of 6 or more and require a $100 deposit. Our party package is $45 per participating guest. All participants receive a small fossil dig, lucky strike pay dirt, a bag of polished gemstones, and a small geode. The birthday guest is upgraded to the large fossil dig and 10 pound motherlode bag of pay dirt. Additional activities can be added to any party package for 20% off the regular price.
