With its impressive elongated body, beautifully defined exoskeleton, and distinctive segmented appearance, this Eohomalonotus trilobite is a remarkable example of the ancient marine life that inhabited Earth's Early Devonian seas.

Dating to the Early Devonian Period approximately 420 to 410 million years ago, this specimen comes from the Tafilalt Formation in the Tazilouait region of Morocco. Eohomalonotus trilobites are particularly recognized for their elongated, relatively streamlined bodies, broad head shields, and numerous well-defined thoracic segments. These fascinating marine arthropods inhabited ancient seafloors, where they likely moved across or burrowed into soft marine sediments.

This impressive specimen measures approximately 4.25 inches long and is preserved on a natural matrix measuring approximately 6 × 4 inches. Its dark exoskeleton contrasts beautifully with the textured gray matrix, highlighting the trilobite's intricate body segmentation and distinctive anatomy. The detailed preparation showcases its elongated form and three-dimensional preservation, making it an attractive display specimen from Morocco's rich Devonian fossil record.

A Certificate of Authenticity from Tyrannostorus is included.
