Tyrannosaurus Rex is one of the most well-known and fearsome dinosaurs of all time. It was the ultimate carnivore with 60 teeth. Each tooth could be up to 8 inches long! Its bite could crunch through bone and is estimated to be 3 times more powerful than a lion's bite. Tyrannosaurus Rex lived during the Late Cretaceous period in the area that is now western North America. This walnut wood necklace was inspired by a Tyrannosaurus skull found in Hells Creek Formation, Montana in 2001. It belonged to a juvenile Tyrannosaurus referred to as Jane. The pendant is approximately 1.75" x 1" on an 18 inch silver chain with a lobster claw clasp. You will receive the necklace pictured in this listing (minus any display stands).
