The Asian Praying Mantis (Hierodula patellifera), native to Malaysia and other parts of Asia, is a striking predator known for its agility and precision. With its elongated body, powerful forelegs, and keen eyesight, this mantis is a master of ambush hunting, waiting patiently before striking with lightning speed. Its vibrant green coloration provides excellent camouflage among leaves, making it nearly invisible to both prey and predators.
Our bug boxes are larger than most. The frames are 9" x 9" and feature beautifully preserved specimens mounted on a linen background in a wooden frame behind clear glass. All specimens have been ethically sourced. You will receive the bug box pictured in this listing. The photos reflect natural variances in lighting.
