Coelacanths are sarcopterygians more closely related to lungfish and tetrapods like reptiles, mammals, and animals like us than they are to ray-finned fish. Coelacanth fossils date back 410 million years old. They were believed to be extinct but were discovered living off the coast of South Africa in 1938! They are considered critically endangered, but you can own this plush version, which is approximately 16 inches long.
