This fossil plate is 5" across it's widest point and features an authentic fossil crab (Geryon) from Lebanon. The crab is approximately 1.25" and dates back to the Cenomanian Stage of the Middle Cretaceous about 95 million years ago. It is preserved in a very fine-grained laminated limestone (micritic) formed by the recrystallization of lime mud. You will receive the item pictured in this listing.
