This fossil plate is 4.5" x 3.75" and features an authentic fossil lobster (Pseudodastacus) from Lebanon. The lobster is approximately 3.25" and dates back to the Cenomanian Stage of the Middle Cretaceous about 95 million years ago. The plate also includes a partial 1.5" fish fossil. These fossils are preserved in a very fine-grained laminated limestone (micritic) formed by the recrystallization of lime mud. You will receive the item pictured in this listing.
