Orthoceras is a genus of nautiloid cephalopod that went extinct about 200 million years ago. This listing is for an orthoceras fossil discovered in the Atlas Mountain Range of southern Morocco. It comes neatly packaged in the pictured 3 x 2" case, which makes an impressive display. These pictures are representative of what you will receive, but each specimen is unique and can vary slightly in size.
